Head of Strategy

About the Role

Our client is a premier Industrials company based in Kolkata seeking a dynamic Head of Strategy & Investor Relations to spearhead the corporate strategy formulation and execution. This executive will forge and nurture critical relationships with investors, analysts, lenders, and other significant stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the creation, refinement, and implementation of the organization's long-term strategic framework.
• Perform detailed analyses of markets, industries, competitors, and macroeconomic trends to pinpoint growth prospects and potential strategic threats.
• Collaborate with business leaders to establish strategic priorities and convert them into concrete projects and initiatives.
• Coordinate the annual strategic planning process ensuring alignment with operating plans across divisions.
• Design and implement robust investor relations strategies to foster market confidence and engage shareholders effectively.
• Act as the main liaison for investors, equity analysts, rating agencies, and financial institutions.
• Lead the preparation of quarterly earnings documents, investor presentations, annual reports, and shareholder communications.
• Organize earnings calls, investor meetings, roadshows, and other capital market events.
• Advise senior leadership including the CEO, CFO, and Executive Committee on priority strategies, capital allocation, and shareholder concerns.
• Prepare comprehensive Board papers, regular strategic updates, and various investor-related communications.
• Support corporate governance and Board engagement initiatives.
• Develop executive communication content for multiple stakeholder audiences internally and externally.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 15 years of significant expertise in corporate strategy, management consulting, investment banking, equity research, investor relations, or corporate development.
• Proven experience collaborating with senior leaders and corporate Boards.
• Established record of success in strategic planning and execution.
• Hands-on leadership in managing cross-functional strategic initiatives and transformational projects.
