About the Role
Join Caboolture State High School as the Head of Special Education Services. In this position, you will spearhead inclusive education initiatives, providing leadership to the Special Education Program to enhance educational outcomes for students with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the Special Education Program to ensure quality advice and support for students requiring additional educational assistance.
- Collaborate with school leadership and teaching staff to design and execute effective adjustments and inclusive teaching methods.
- Manage targeted instruction, case coordination, and facilitate access to specialist services for students needing extra support.
- Develop staff competencies through professional development, coaching, and guidance in special education.
- Direct school-wide procedures for the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD) and contribute to overall school enhancement efforts.
- Establish strong connections with families, community groups, and government bodies while managing program resources aligned with school objectives.
