Overview

Based at the Desert Rock resort in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, the Head of Spa & Wellness role focuses on managing the spa, wellness, gym, and related facilities to deliver exceptional luxury guest experiences aligned with the company’s core values: Respect, Responsibility, Passion, and Collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the spa, boutique, gym, wellness, and relaxation areas to ensure smooth, high-quality service delivery.
- Ensure treatments, therapies, and wellness services meet rigorous luxury standards and brand guidelines.
- Optimize guest satisfaction and operational efficiency through active monitoring and management.
- Schedule staffing to meet business demands, maintaining adequate therapist and spa colleague coverage.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and presentation of all treatment rooms, equipment, and facilities.
- Provide personalized wellness experiences that exceed guest expectations and handle guest feedback professionally.
- Lead, inspire, and develop the spa team with training, coaching, recruitment, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, revenue monitoring, productivity, promotions, retail sales, and cost controls.
- Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, safety, operational procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate wellness initiatives, seasonal programs, fitness activities, and special events maintaining consistency across offerings.
- Support environmentally sustainable practices in spa operations and encourage team participation in sustainability programs.
- Collaborate cross-departmentally to provide seamless guest experiences and regularly report operational performance to management.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Wellness Management, or related discipline.
- At least 5 to 7 years of luxury spa experience including 2 to 3 years in leadership or management roles.
- Extensive knowledge of spa operations, wellness programming, fitness facilities, and top-tier guest service.
- Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills to manage multidisciplinary wellness teams effectively.
- Financial expertise related to budgeting, revenue, and cost management.
- Familiarity with spa and hotel property management systems preferred.
- Professional certifications in spa, wellness, or hospitality advantageous.
- Fluency in English required; additional languages beneficial.
