Role Overview

The Head of Quality Management at the Linnich site leads the comprehensive quality strategy and systems to ensure all products and processes comply with regulatory, customer, and internal quality standards. This full-time position combines onsite leadership presence with the flexibility of remote work, focusing on quality assurance, quality control, policy development, and continuous enhancement initiatives across manufacturing and support divisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor quality teams, promoting a strong quality culture and accountability.
  • Monitor and analyze key quality metrics, perform audits, and conduct risk assessments.
  • Manage corrective and preventive action processes to address quality issues.
  • Collaborate closely with operations, R&D, supply chain, and customer service to integrate quality into product development and delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, coordinate certification processes, and oversee quality documentation.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives applying methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in quality management encompassing assurance, control, and improvement methods (ISO standards, Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Background in manufacturing or industrial sectors, preferably packaging or food and beverage, with strong process optimization and risk management skills.
  • Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams in complex international environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication skills to collaborate with diverse internal and external partners.
  • Analytical aptitude employing data-driven decision-making and leveraging KPIs.
  • Academic credentials in engineering, quality management, natural sciences, or equivalent disciplines.
  • Fluency in English required; German proficiency is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and audit management in manufacturing and packaging contexts.
