Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Head of Projects and Facilities to steer a critical function within a large, multi-site enterprise. This executive-level role encompasses leadership over a multifaceted portfolio of capital projects and facility operations, emphasizing governance, operational excellence, and the development of long-range infrastructure strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the end-to-end planning, execution, and oversight of major projects from initial concept through to successful completion.
- Formulate and implement comprehensive Projects and Facilities strategies that align with the company’s overarching business goals.
- Supervise project delivery metrics including budgeting, scheduling, quality assurance, risk management, and compliance adherence.
- Ensure effective management of facilities operations, routine maintenance, asset lifecycle, and service quality.
- Champion initiatives that drive continuous operational improvements, including sustainability efforts and cost reductions.
- Coordinate and manage interactions with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and key strategic partners.
- Engage collaboratively with executive leadership and various internal stakeholders to secure project success.
- Lead, guide, and nurture a high-performing Projects and Facilities team to meet organizational objectives.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 12 years in escalating leadership roles within Projects, Construction, Development, or Facilities Management disciplines.
- Demonstrable expertise managing large-scale, multi-site capital endeavors.
- Strong command over project governance frameworks, financial control, contract negotiation, procurement processes, and vendor management.
- Experience leading diverse, multidisciplinary teams in complex organizational settings.
- Exceptional skills in stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and executive-level communication.
- Academic credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or allied fields; advanced degrees or professional certifications such as PMP or LEED are advantageous.
