Head of Portfolio Management

Role Overview

The Head of Portfolio Management role is a full-time, remote position responsible for supervising and enhancing Pegasus Esports’ collection of programs, projects, and investments. This involves managing the pipeline for esports and content initiatives, prioritizing projects based on their strategic value, and aligning resources with the organization's objectives.

Key Responsibilities

The incumbent collaborates closely with leadership teams, finance, operations, and project managers to assess performance, mitigate risks, and ensure decisions support long-term organizational expansion. Daily duties include monitoring project statuses and key metrics, performing financial and operational analyses, fine-tuning portfolio governance frameworks, and delivering comprehensive reports and recommendations to senior executives.

Continuous Improvement

This role also emphasizes promoting ongoing enhancements across the portfolio, implementing standards, and guaranteeing that all initiatives are aligned with Pegasus Esports’ mission and competitive stature within the esports sector.

Qualifications

• Exceptional analytical abilities to evaluate project outcomes, financial returns, and strategic significance throughout the portfolio.
• Proven portfolio and project portfolio management experience for prioritizing and balancing multiple simultaneous initiatives.
• Strong program management skills, including coordinating cross-departmental activities, managing timelines, and meeting objectives.
• Comprehensive understanding of financial management and budgeting practices to support investments and resource distribution.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex information for varied stakeholders and develop polished presentations and reports.
• Experience within esports, gaming, media, or analogous industries is an advantage.
• A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, management, or a related discipline is required; advanced degrees or certifications like PMP, PgMP, or PfMP are favorable.
• Capability to operate effectively in a remote work environment, exercising sound judgment and data-informed decision-making in a dynamic setting.
