Role overview
KLR Executive Search is working with Chislom Chislom & Kilpatrack (CCK) to hire a Head of People Operations who will act as the firm’s senior HR leader. Reporting to the Managing Partner and working closely with the executive team, this person will guide the people agenda, reinforce the culture, attract and grow strong talent, and create the HR foundation needed to support the firm’s continued expansion across a nationally recognized law practice.
Responsibilities
- Work with senior leadership to make sure the people strategy supports long-term business goals.
- Oversee the full HR function, including hiring, employee relations, performance management, pay and benefits, payroll, compliance, learning and development, and HR systems.
- Lead workforce planning, succession planning, organizational design, and change management efforts.
- Support and coach managers while helping build a strong, engaged, and team-oriented workplace.
- Improve HR processes, tools, reporting, and the employee experience so the organization can scale effectively.
- Collaborate with Finance on staffing plans, compensation approach, and annual budgeting.
Qualifications
- At least 10 years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources.
- Demonstrated ability to create and execute HR strategy in a growing organization.
- Strong commercial understanding and the confidence to operate at an executive level.
- Deep knowledge across the core areas of HR.
- Highly collaborative approach with excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building abilities.
- Background in guiding organizational change and developing high-performing teams.
