Job description

About the Role

Join a prominent private investment platform focused on real assets, energy, infrastructure, and alternative investments in the Dallas Metro area as the Head of People. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to lead the senior HR function within a well-funded, institutional-grade organization undergoing significant growth. Collaborating closely with executive leadership, you will architect the people strategy, enhance organizational capabilities, and implement scalable HR initiatives that support both corporate and operational divisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the firm's top HR executive and a trusted consultant to senior leadership.
  • Design and execute comprehensive people strategies aligned with business expansion and long-term value creation.
  • Develop scalable HR programs covering talent acquisition, organizational design, leadership growth, performance management, total rewards, and employee engagement.
  • Collaborate closely with leaders across both corporate and operational units to enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Build HR infrastructure, processes, and best practices that enable continued growth and preserve an agile company culture.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to senior leaders on organizational changes, talent management, and complex people-related issues.
  • Balance strategic oversight with active hands-on involvement, contributing to building solutions rather than solely managing existing processes.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in human resources.
  • Background in private equity, investment management, real estate, infrastructure, energy, or similar capital-intensive industries.
  • Track record of successfully building, scaling, or transforming HR functions in dynamic, growing organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with executives and influence business decisions through a people-centric approach.
  • Experience thriving in lean, high-performance environments requiring adaptability and ownership.
  • Possess strong executive presence, sound judgment, high emotional intelligence, and excellent communication capabilities.

Why Join This Organization

  • Direct reporting line to executive leadership with significant visibility and influence.
  • Be part of an institutional-quality private investment platform with a robust reputation and substantial growth plans.
  • Opportunity to shape and elevate the people strategy during an important expansion phase.
  • High-impact role with broad exposure across both corporate functions and operating businesses.
  • Competitive base salary ranging from $225,000 to $300,000 plus bonus incentives.
  • Chance to make a lasting, strategic contribution to the company's culture, leadership, and future success.

Additional Information

This position is not a conventional corporate HR leadership role. It is ideal for a proactive builder who thrives in entrepreneurial settings, enjoys creating scalable solutions, and aims to be a strategic business partner. The role will enable you to influence the company's cultural and leadership development while advancing its ambitious growth trajectory.
