Responsibilities and Requirements

Essential criteria include:

• Proven experience heading large residential programs.
• Exceptional skills in organization and managing projects.
• The ability to make high-level decisions under pressure.
• Expertise in handling multiple complex projects concurrently.
• Excellent communication capabilities with parents and staff.
• A strong grasp of safeguarding policies and risk management practices.

Preferred qualifications and experience:

• Wilderness First Aid certification or similar qualification.
• Expedition leadership credentials.
• Experience with Duke of Edinburgh, Outward Bound, or related programs.
• Relevant international school experience.

Educational Background

• A Bachelor's degree in education, outdoor education, recreation, or a similar discipline.
• A teaching certification such as a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or Bachelor of Education.
• A demonstrated dedication to continuous professional development.

Additional Information

The appointment is set to begin in January 2027.
