Job description
Role Overview
In this senior leadership role, you will serve as a close operational partner to the Business Head, taking charge of the company’s core support and back-office engine. Your focus will be on building a high-quality, efficient operating structure that enables commercial growth across supply chain, customer service, IT, HR, and logistics.
Strategic Leadership and Execution
- Work alongside the Business Head to oversee back-office activities such as after-sales support, call centre operations, supply chain, warehousing, logistics, new store launches, IT, and HR.
- Create and implement yearly operating plans and budgets that align with business goals and expansion plans.
Operational Excellence and Customer Experience
- Improve productivity and quality across all operational support areas.
- Deliver a smooth, premium customer journey through effective after-sales service and call centre management.
- Strengthen supply chain and warehousing performance, including stock control and last-mile delivery.
- Manage the capsule recycling initiative in support of sustainability objectives.
- Own operational delivery for new store openings, ensuring schedules, budgets, and brand standards are achieved.
Cross-Functional Back-Office Management
- Administer operational budgets, monitor expenses, and manage cash flow linked to supply chain and logistics.
- Improve HR workflows covering hiring, induction, and performance management.
- Maintain reliable IT systems and infrastructure to support day-to-day operations, e-commerce logistics, and business growth.
Team Leadership and Development
- Recruit, develop, and lead a strong team across multiple operational functions.
- Partner with internal teams to create and enhance standard operating procedures for consistency and quality.
Governance and Stakeholder Management
- Define operating standards and keep SOPs updated for stock handling, e-commerce logistics, forecasting, legal and regulatory requirements, and audit readiness.
- Build effective relationships with stakeholders, including brand principals and corporate teams, to keep execution aligned with strategy.
