Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Head of Operations to lead the complete execution cycle of our MICE and events business. This senior leadership role requires managing operations, client servicing, production, and the overall client relationship from initial briefing through to flawless event delivery. The position supports corporate events, conferences, exhibitions, incentive travel, and brand activation projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes, margin protection, and client retention.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee planning and delivery of all MICE and event projects, ensuring they are completed on schedule, within budget, and aligned with client expectations.
• Manage production functions including fabrication, staging, audiovisual technology, logistics, and vendor coordination across simultaneous projects.
• Develop and enforce standard operating procedures, detailed timelines, and quality checks across all project phases.
• Take responsibility for project budgeting, cost management, and P&L, safeguarding margins without compromising quality.
• Maintain and expand vendor and supplier relationships, conduct negotiations for favorable rates, and ensure compliance and reliability.
• Serve as the principal contact for key clients, fostering strong partnerships and securing repeat engagements.
• Convert client briefs into actionable plans in cooperation with creative and production teams.
• Lead project pitches, proposal development, and pricing alongside business development teams to grow the client base.
• Manage escalations promptly to maintain high client satisfaction throughout event lifecycles.
• Coordinate logistics specific to MICE events including group travel, venue and destination management, delegate handling, and partnership with Destination Management Companies (DMCs), hotels, airlines, and venue providers for both domestic and international programmes.
• Lead, mentor, and expand the operations, production, and client servicing teams to foster a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement.
• Allocate resources efficiently across projects and manage team workloads to optimize delivery capacity and quality.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 10 to 15 years of comprehensive experience in events, experiential marketing, or MICE, with significant senior leadership involvement in operations, production, or client servicing roles.
• Proven expertise delivering large-scale corporate events, conferences, exhibitions, and MICE initiatives.
• Strong competencies in both operational/production management and customer-facing/account management aspects.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, P&L responsibilities, and vendor negotiations effectively.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams under deadline-driven environments.
• Outstanding communication, stakeholder management, and client relationship abilities.
• Willingness to travel and work onsite during events, including outside normal hours.
• A bachelor's degree is essential; an MBA or relevant hospitality/events certification is advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications

• Existing network of corporate clients, venues, and vendors within the Delhi NCR region.
• Experience managing both domestic and international MICE programs.
• Background working with reputable event or experiential agencies.
