Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced leader to manage our operational activities on site. This role requires a capable individual to integrate processes, financials, and people management to professionalize the manufactory while maintaining its authentic character.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage inventory levels, ensure material availability, and coordinate with suppliers.
• Oversee all operational functions at the Plankstadt facility, including production, warehousing, logistics, and maintenance, reporting directly to senior management.
• Lead and nurture a team of approximately 15 employees covering shift scheduling, onboarding, and personnel development.
• Plan production, optimize capacity utilization, and ensure delivery reliability aligning schedules, quantities, and quality standards.
• Evaluate processes across the production chain, identify cost-saving and efficiency improvement opportunities, and implement changes from formulation to packaging stages.
• Implement and advance operational KPIs to enhance transparency regarding performance and expenses.

Qualifications

• Several years of leadership experience in roles such as operations manager, production manager, or equivalent, preferably within cosmetics, food, chemical, or consumer goods manufacturing sectors.
• Proven ability to lead teams effectively, motivate personnel, and foster employee development.
• Solid technical knowledge of production equipment and workflows, coupled with strong numerical acumen.
• Resilient and assertive, capable of maintaining direction amid challenges while preserving good team relations.
• Organized, independent worker willing to engage hands-on when necessary.
• Familiarity with quality management systems and regulatory standards is advantageous.
• Excellent command of German and good English language skills.
