About Crevel Europe

Crevel Europe is an expanding importer, distributor, and brand partner specializing in international food and beverage labels across Europe. Operating from its logistics center in Hilden, Germany, the company offers wholesale distribution, brand representation, value-added services, and comprehensive supply chain solutions reaching over 30 countries. The facilities combine traditional warehousing with specialized operations such as pick & pack, pallet assembly, multilingual labeling, display building, quality assurance, import coordination, and comprehensive logistics.

Role Overview

We seek an energetic, hands-on leader to oversee our European operations and spearhead the forthcoming phase of growth. You will manage experienced managers across operations, logistics, and added value services, focusing on strategic development, process standardization, and ongoing operational improvements throughout the entire organization—not limited to a single function. This is an on-site leader role based in Hilden, requiring a hands-on approach that balances frontline engagement with strategic coaching and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership for all Crevel operations in Europe including warehousing, logistics, and value-added services.
  • Directly manage Operations, Logistics, and Warehouse Managers.
  • Develop and enforce KPI frameworks promoting a performance-driven culture, measuring key indicators such as OTIF, picking accuracy, inventory precision, cost control, and productivity.
  • Coordinate transportation and logistics activities with third-party logistics providers, carriers, and freight forwarders across more than 30 countries.
  • Champion process enhancements through automation and digital solutions, embracing Lean and Kaizen methodologies.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Procurement, Customer Service, and Brand Management teams to align operational objectives.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in operations, logistics, supply chain, or distribution.
  • At least 3 years in leadership roles managing teams or supervisors across various departments.
  • Must be based in or willing to relocate to Hilden, as this is a fully on-site position.
  • A proactive hands-on approach, adept in balancing strategic planning with active floor engagement.
  • Strong analytical thinking and practical problem-solving capabilities.
  • Interest and openness to emerging technologies, automation, and improved work methods.
  • Fluent in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluency in German and/or Spanish.
  • Experience in the food industry, FMCG sector, or wholesale distribution.
  • Background in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments.
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP software, Lean Six Sigma, or automation initiatives.

What We Offer

  • Opportunity to influence and upgrade a thriving European operation.
  • Significant autonomy with direct influence on company performance.
  • Exposure to diverse international brands, suppliers, and clients.
  • An energetic, growth-focused entrepreneurial workplace culture.

Additional Information

This role requires relocation or residency in the Hilden area as it is essential to work on-site. Candidates who excel at challenging norms, introducing innovative ideas, and thinking ahead will find this role rewarding.
