Job description

About the company

This role sits within a rapidly expanding Canadian startup that is also among the world’s fastest-growing AI businesses. The company develops a suite of AI growth agents designed to help businesses solve distribution at scale, with coverage across SEO/GEO, LLM citation, short-form video, dynamic pricing, and revenue attribution. Together, these products create an end-to-end distribution system used by highly growth-focused customers.

In its first year, the business scaled from zero to $1M in monthly revenue and grew to roughly 60 employees.

Role overview

The Head of Operations will act as the central coordinator across the organization, turning a fast-moving team into a structured, efficient operating machine. Reporting directly to the Founder & CEO, this person will own the systems, workflows, and cross-team alignment needed to support growth from 65 to 100+ employees while preserving speed and quality.

This is a key early hire with no existing blueprint; the successful candidate will be expected to build the playbook from scratch.

Key responsibilities

  • Create and roll out the operating framework for a business that spans multiple products and multiple revenue streams.
  • Set up and run processes that connect engineering, product, go-to-market, and customer success functions.
  • Lead hiring operations and work with the team to grow headcount in a scalable, efficient way.
  • Spot bottlenecks across the organization and remove them before they escalate into larger issues.
  • Oversee external vendors, internal tools, and day-to-day operational spending.
  • Back the CEO on strategic priorities, special initiatives, and any work that has not yet been assigned to another owner.
  • Develop reporting and accountability systems that give leadership timely insight into performance and progress.

Candidate profile

  • Demonstrated success building and scaling operations in a high-growth startup, preferably at a similar size range of about 50 to 150+ employees.
  • Comfortable working in uncertainty and able to introduce structure without adding unnecessary bureaucracy.
  • Broad cross-functional capability, with ease navigating both product discussions and finance-related conversations.
  • Action-oriented mindset with a strong instinct to solve problems proactively rather than waiting for direction.
  • Experience in a business model that combines multiple products or services plus product is considered an advantage.
  • Comfortable collaborating closely with a young, fast-paced founding team.

Why this role

  • Direct access to the founder and meaningful influence over the company’s scaling journey.
  • The company is profitable and growing, rather than dependent on burning through runway.
  • Four live AI products already have traction in a very large market.
  • The team works quickly, iterates often, and avoids overcomplicating decisions.
  • The company is among Canada’s fastest-growing startups, with strong momentum behind it.

Additional information

This position is based in Canada and is an on-site, full-time role. No salary, stipend, number of openings, start date, or application deadline was provided.

The role description indicates that applicants should apply if they believe they are a fit.
