Role Overview

The Senior Vice President of Project Operations and Delivery Management leads the planning and execution of global or regional project delivery systems. The role is accountable for ensuring major projects are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality. By applying structured project management practices and improving operations, this leader helps increase delivery performance, customer satisfaction, and overall business results.

This position sits within the company’s top leadership group and plays an active role in strategic decisions and the allocation of resources across departments.

Core Responsibilities

Define and guide the organization’s project delivery strategy and operating model.

Build consistent project management processes covering launch, execution, tracking, delivery, and post-project review.

Align and improve delivery systems across global or regional operations.

Manage the full lifecycle of major projects from start through completion.

Ensure project targets are met for scope, schedule, cost, and quality.

Create systems to identify risks early and reduce project issues before they escalate.

Improve operational efficiency and resource allocation across projects.

Lead the digitization of project management through tools such as PMO systems and BI analytics platforms.

Strengthen delivery capability and make successful practices easier to repeat across projects.

Ensure strong delivery outcomes for key customers and strategic initiatives.

Handle major delivery risks and resolve critical client concerns.

Support higher customer satisfaction and improve contract renewal outcomes.

Create and oversee an enterprise-level PMO structure.

Design project governance and decision-making frameworks.

Promote coordination across R&D, Product, Sales, Supply Chain, and other teams.

Lead and develop global or regional project managers and delivery teams.

Build competency models and training programs for project managers.

Shape a high-performing project delivery organization.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree or higher is required; backgrounds in Engineering Management, Project Management, Computer Science, Business, or similar areas are preferred.

Candidates should have more than 20 years of project management or delivery management experience, including 8 to 10 years in senior leadership roles.

Experience delivering large, complex initiatives such as multinational, cross-functional, or multi-system projects is necessary.

Exposure to PMO setup and project management methods such as PMP or PRINCE2 is preferred.

Strong ability in risk control and coordinating resources is important.

Experience in SaaS, IT systems integration, energy, manufacturing, or engineering sectors is preferred.
