Job description
About Flai
Flai is pioneering AI-driven solutions to revolutionize the automotive dealership industry, one of the largest yet still reliant on outdated manual systems. Supported by top-tier investors like First Round Capital and Toyota Ventures, Flai has achieved early product-market fit and is on a rapid growth trajectory.
Role Overview
This full-time position is based in San Francisco with a flexible hybrid schedule requiring 3 to 4 days weekly onsite. As Head of Marketing, you will collaborate directly with the founders to craft and elevate Flai’s brand voice, drive product storytelling, and steer marketing initiatives that define the role of AI in automotive.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead hands-on product marketing including messaging, competitive positioning, launches, and creating customer use cases.
- Develop and continuously refine brand strategy to clearly differentiate Flai in the marketplace.
- Create and manage sales enablement tools such as presentations, one-pagers, case studies, and demos.
- Design and activate brand presence at dealerships with merchandise and on-site materials.
- Develop and execute top-of-funnel strategies for demand generation through targeted messaging and channel optimization backed by data analysis.
- Build customer advocacy programs, referral initiatives, communities, and growth loops to enhance engagement and distribution.
- Support public relations and corporate communication around key milestones like fundraising and partnerships.
- Set the strategic direction and tone for all content, overseeing the marketing associate who handles daily execution.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 7 years' experience in product, brand, or growth marketing within B2B technology sectors, preferably in mid-market or SMB startups.
- Ability to balance high-level strategic thinking with hands-on execution including copywriting and campaign management.
- Strong proficiency in analytics to establish tracking, interpret data, and refine audience targeting and messaging.
- Curiosity about AI and emerging markets with a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
- High ownership mentality, excellent follow-through, and a drive to deliver results consistently.
- Bonus qualifications: background in AI or vertical SaaS, experience building founder brands, and skills in mentoring marketing team members.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive salary ranging from $170,000 to $210,000 alongside substantial equity opportunities.
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans.
- Flexible paid time off policy.
- Hybrid work environment with frequent in-office collaboration alongside founders.
- Opportunity to impact an early-stage startup with a tight-knit, talented team.
