You will collaborate with internal leaders and external university and talent communities to build a pipeline of emerging talent aligned with Notion’s values and craft standards. This position is located onsite in San Francisco or New York City, with office presence expected on designated collaborative days.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive global early talent acquisition plan spanning internships, new graduate hiring, and early-career pipelines affecting multiple company departments and regions.
- Lead and nurture a high-performing team of early career talent recruiters, establishing and enforcing high standards consistently.
- Act as a strategic consultant to business executives by providing labor market insights, early career compensation data, and perspectives on young talent sources, including campus and first-job candidates.
- Champion the integration of AI-driven tools, automation, and workflows into early career recruiting to improve sourcing, evaluation, and hiring efficiency.
- Continuously refine programs and processes, such as internship designs and conversion strategies, to accelerate hiring without compromising candidate quality.
- Define and monitor key early career recruitment metrics like conversion ratios, hire quality, sourcing distribution, and offer timelines to inform decision-making.
- Collaborate with company storytelling teams to enhance the employer brand appeal and recognition among early talent segments.
- Work with the Ambassador Program to foster a community connecting early talent with the overall company ecosystem, turning advocates into hires.
Required Qualifications
- At least four years of leadership experience in early career recruiting encompassing university hiring, internship programs, graduate pipelines, and early-in-career talent acquisition across multiple functions.
- A modern understanding of effective early talent attraction and evaluation methodologies, including work trials and competitive challenges, with a desire to continuously refine approaches.
- A proven history of building and scaling productive early career recruiting teams in fast-paced and rapidly growing businesses.
- Highly proactive and strategic with the capability to lead talent strategies top-down and manage intensive recruiting cycles bottom-up.
- Strong analytical skills demonstrated by using data-driven insights to guide recruiting outcomes and team performance.
- Trusted advisor to senior leadership with robust market knowledge influencing executive decisions on talent resourcing and investment.
- Committed to an AI-first mindset, adept with contemporary recruiting technologies, and eager to promote AI adoption within talent acquisition teams.
- Deep familiarity with early career compensation trends, market dynamics, and synergy with universities, bootcamps, and community talent sources.
Preferred Experience
- Background in program management or talent development, designing structured early career experiences such as rotational and mentorship programs.
- Proven capability in utilizing AI to transform early career recruitment operations, beyond tool usage to workflow and adoption leadership.
- Experience driving diversity-focused recruiting initiatives targeting underrepresented groups including HBCUs and community colleges, with measurable success.
- Extensive network within university and campus talent communities.
