Head of Marketing

Overview

An established contract catering business with operations across the UK is seeking an ambitious, commercially minded Head of Marketing. This is a senior, hands-on leadership position for someone who can shape brand direction, keep the business competitive, and help drive growth in a busy hospitality setting.

The role reports to the Managing Director and works closely with operational leaders and other senior stakeholders. You will be expected to ensure the brand message is delivered consistently across all sites and client accounts, while strengthening customer engagement and long-term brand performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design inventive marketing approaches that increase brand visibility and customer engagement.
• Plan and deliver campaigns that support revenue growth across both existing sites and new business locations.
• Take ownership of the annual marketing budget and manage spend effectively.
• Contribute to the development of the food and service offering, including menu ideas and customer experience improvements.
• Develop productive working relationships with external agencies and partners to support brand delivery.
• Set and implement a long-range marketing and brand plan that aligns with wider business growth goals.

Candidate profile

• You should bring proven experience leading marketing and brand activity within hospitality or food service.
• Background in contract catering is strongly preferred.
• A solid commercial mindset is needed, along with the ability to build a brand around strong values and customer focus.
• You should have a genuine interest in food, hospitality, and creating memorable customer experiences.
• The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking with a practical, hands-on style and confidence influencing people at every level.

Location: London

Salary: GBP 100,000 to GBP 120,000
