Role Overview
This position is a full-time, on-site Head of Human Resources role responsible for leading the hotel's HR department. The incumbent will ensure that HR functions follow both corporate requirements and Ghanaian labor laws. Key duties involve developing strategic HR plans, overseeing recruitment and staffing efforts, managing employee relations, ensuring adherence to labor regulations, and fostering a supportive workplace environment that promotes operational success and employee engagement.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Extensive expertise in Human Resources management.
- Strong familiarity with labor and employment legislation to guarantee compliance.
- Demonstrated capability to design and enforce HR policies.
- Proven track record in managing employee relations and nurturing a positive work culture.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant hospitality industry experience, with a preference for candidates who have worked with Marriott hotel brands.
- Proficiency in HR information systems such as Bayan and Jana.
- A Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is mandatory; professional HR certifications are advantageous.
