Role overview
A premium hospitality business in London’s West End is hiring a senior HR leader to own the people and culture agenda. This position plays a key role in building an outstanding employee experience in a busy, service-led environment while supporting the brand’s ongoing expansion.
The successful candidate will shape and deliver a progressive people strategy that reinforces culture, improves performance, and supports business growth across the operation.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and deliver a full people strategy that supports company objectives and reflects the brand’s values.
- Build and roll out a strong learning and development approach that encourages continuous improvement, capability building, and clear progression paths.
- Promote a high-performance, people-focused culture that improves engagement, retention, and the overall employee journey.
- Work closely with senior leaders and operational teams so HR plans directly support commercial goals and service quality.
- Lead talent management activity, including succession planning, leadership development, and performance management frameworks.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion, while strengthening the employer brand in the hospitality market.
- Advise on employee relations matters and ensure decisions are fair, consistent, and commercially practical.
- Contribute to organisational design and workforce planning across multiple sites in a fast-moving operational setting.
Experience and profile
- Extensive senior HR leadership background, preferably gained in hospitality, luxury retail, or premium leisure.
- Deep knowledge of learning and development strategy and wider people development practices.
- Proven ability to create high-performance cultures and improve engagement and retention.
- Experience with organisational design, talent planning, and cultural change in fast-paced multi-site businesses.
- Commercial awareness with the ability to balance people priorities and operational needs.
- Confident and influential leadership style, with the ability to partner with senior stakeholders and motivate teams at all levels.
Compensation
The salary offered for this role is GBP 100,000 to GBP 110,000 per year.
