Role Overview

This senior HR leadership position is accountable for overseeing the entire human resources function and ensuring that workforce initiatives support business goals. The role requires close alignment with UAE Labour Law and sector-specific compliance standards while managing hiring, employee relations, performance, compensation, development, HR operations, and organization-wide growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Shape and execute HR plans that directly support the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Partner with senior leadership as a trusted advisor on people, culture, and organizational matters.
  • Strengthen and sustain a high-performance workplace environment.
  • Create, refine, and maintain HR policies and procedures.
  • Lead manpower planning and recruitment activity across the organization.
  • Manage hiring for teams such as sales, operations, dealing, compliance, finance, marketing, IT, and support.
  • Enhance the employer brand and improve the applicant experience.
  • Address disciplinary matters, employee concerns, and workplace disputes.
  • Support engagement and retention efforts that encourage a positive employee experience.
  • Help build a constructive, productive, and collaborative work culture.
  • Design and oversee KPI-based performance appraisal frameworks.
  • Guide department managers in performance improvement plans and initiatives.
  • Drive succession planning and broader talent development programs.
  • Develop competitive pay structures and incentive schemes.
  • Carry out salary benchmarking and market comparisons.
  • Review annual increments and bonus proposals.
  • Identify training requirements and learning gaps.
  • Build leadership development initiatives and career growth programs.
  • Oversee onboarding and continuous learning activities.
  • Manage payroll, attendance, leave administration, HR systems, and employee files.
  • Ensure HR processes remain efficient and fully compliant.
  • Track HR data, metrics, and reports for management review.
  • Ensure all HR practices comply with UAE Labour Law.
  • Handle employment contracts, visas, work permits, and personnel documentation.
  • Liaise with legal, compliance, and government bodies when needed.
  • Support internal and external audit requirements.
  • Lead restructuring efforts when organizational change is required.
  • Implement change management programs to support business transformation.
  • Develop policies that improve productivity and employee satisfaction.

Experience and Qualifications

Applicants should have 8 to 10 years of broad HR experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Experience within Forex, financial services, FinTech, or brokerage environments is strongly preferred. A solid understanding of UAE Labour Law and visa regulations is required. Strong written and spoken fluency in both Arabic and English is mandatory.
