Role overview
As Head of Global Sales at TheSidelineGroup, you will take end-to-end ownership of the worldwide sales strategy and its execution. The role combines strategic planning, commercial leadership, and hands-on operational management across international markets.
What you will do
- Build, guide, and continuously refine sales and revenue plans for global markets.
- Lead the international sales organization and make sure collaboration with other departments runs smoothly.
- Review market and customer data to uncover opportunities and improve performance.
- Enhance sales workflows, monitor key KPIs, and keep sales operations running efficiently.
- Manage strategically important customers and partners, supporting long-term business growth.
- Work closely with senior leadership to define goals, actions, and implementation plans, and drive consistent follow-through.
Qualifications
- You should have strong expertise in business planning and in creating growth strategies for international markets.
- Proven B2B sales experience is required, along with a track record of leading sales initiatives and delivering ambitious revenue targets.
- You need solid people-management experience, including coaching, motivating, and developing international sales teams.
- Experience in sales operations is important, especially in process design, pipeline management, and CRM usage.
- Strong account management capability is needed for building and maintaining lasting relationships with key clients.
- A degree in business administration, economics, or a similar field is expected.
- You must be highly analytical, fluent in German and English at negotiation level, strongly results-driven, and willing to travel internationally from time to time.
Work setup
This is a full-time position based in Düsseldorf, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, with a hybrid setup that allows part of the work to be done from home.
