Role overview
An international manufacturing group is hiring a commercially minded finance leader for its German subsidiary in the Frankfurt region. This onsite leadership role is focused on strengthening finance operations, improving business performance, and supporting the next stage of growth and transformation. You will work closely with the Group CFO and serve as a key financial partner to senior leadership.
What you will do
- Take ownership of finance, accounting, reporting, and controlling functions.
- Manage monthly and year-end closing activities, along with cross-border financial reporting.
- Build and oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and cash flow control.
- Contribute to investment decisions and hedging approaches.
- Prepare financial analysis and performance updates for executive stakeholders.
- Improve and standardize finance processes, internal controls, and operating routines.
- Lead, coach, and develop the finance team.
- Act as a trusted strategic advisor to the CEO and wider leadership group.
Requirements
- A degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a closely related discipline is mandatory.
- A CPA, Chartered Accountant, or equivalent tax qualification is required.
- Applicants must have senior finance leadership experience gained in an international group environment.
- Experience working in the manufacturing sector is essential.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical ability, and sound judgment are needed.
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills are expected.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
