Role Overview

The Head of Finance acts as a pivotal financial leader reporting directly to the CEO and collaborating closely with executive leadership. This role oversees the company's financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and risk management efforts, aiming to ensure financial stability and foster growth within a dynamic omnichannel retail environment. This position demands a strategic vision, deep financial knowledge, and the capacity to lead business transformation in a competitive retail market.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute a comprehensive financial strategy aligned with the growth ambitions across multiple retail channels.
• Lead budgeting processes, develop financial models, and forecast outcomes to deliver actionable insights supporting executive decision-making.
• Drive retail financial analytics including profitability examination, sales forecasting, pricing strategy development, and margin optimization to boost revenue.
• Guarantee precise and timely financial reports, uphold internal controls, and ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance standards.
• Enhance financial operations focusing on cash flow management, inventory valuation, cost control, and overall operational efficiency to improve profitability.
• Provide financial due diligence and analysis for mergers, acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and other investment opportunities.
• Collaborate with executive management, investors, and stakeholders to align financial results with organizational objectives.
• Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing finance team fostering excellence and innovation.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Over 8 years of advanced finance leadership experience, ideally within retail, consumer goods or e-commerce sectors.
• Expertise in corporate finance, financial modeling, strategic budgeting, and planning.
• Hands-on experience in inventory management, retail pricing frameworks, and finance related to supply chains.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, SEC regulations, and compliance standards typical of the retail industry.
• Experience in mergers and acquisitions, fundraising efforts, and managing investor relations is highly advantageous.
• Possession of a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline; advanced qualifications such as MBA, CPA, or CFA are preferred.
• Exceptional leadership and communication abilities with a strategic, analytical, and data-driven approach to problem-solving.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary range between $260,000 and $300,000 annually.
