About the Role
Clera is hiring a Head of Finance / CFO to take full ownership of the finance function as the company grows quickly. This is a hands-on leadership position focused on building the finance organization from an early stage, leading a team as it expands, and working in a lean, AI-led operating environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and launch the FP&A function from the beginning.
- Lead fundraising activity and manage relationships with investors.
- Handle treasury management and broader capital planning.
- Improve financial operations and strengthen reporting systems.
- Work closely with the executive team on financial planning and growth decisions.
- Oversee accounting, internal financial controls, and compliance requirements.
What We’re Looking For
- Prior experience serving as a CFO or Head of Finance at a fast-scaling technology or logistics business.
- Deep knowledge of financial planning, fundraising, and capital management.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop, and lead a strong finance team.
- Comfort working through ambiguity and taking a practical, hands-on approach in an early-stage setting.
- Experience with finance in operations or supply chain environments will be considered an advantage.
- Preference for candidates familiar with AI-enabled and technology-led companies.
