Barden is collaborating exclusively with a globally established company to recruit a commercially driven Head of Finance to spearhead the build and growth of its finance operations across Australia and New Zealand. Key Responsibilities and Role Scope

The selected candidate will collaborate closely with the newly appointed General Manager for Australia and take ownership of setting up the ANZ finance function from inception. Responsibilities include establishing financial controls, facilitating acquisition and integration activities, partnering with commercial leadership, and developing the necessary infrastructure to support significant growth trajectories. This role is integral to the leadership team as the business shifts from a distribution-based model to a fully integrated manufacturing and commercial entity. The opportunity also exists to build and lead a centralized finance support structure for the region over time.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

The ideal professional will possess approximately six or more years of post-qualified experience (PQE), have a history of working in rapidly expanding and dynamic companies, and thrive in environments where operational frameworks are developed from scratch. Proven experience with acquisitions, integrations, and group reporting within larger organizational contexts is essential. The role calls for a commercially astute mindset with a passion for close collaboration with senior leadership and enthusiasm for establishing a business foundation in a new market.
