Role overview
Eden Rose is working with a fast-expanding international professional services firm to hire a Head of Finance and Corporate Services for its Dubai office. This senior leadership position acts as a key advisor to the Chairman and combines responsibility for the Group’s finance operations with oversight of the wider corporate services framework that underpins the business.
What you will do
- Direct and strengthen the Group finance team.
- Assess team setup, accountabilities and workflows to improve efficiency, scalability and financial control.
- Supervise the production of monthly management accounts for all Group companies.
- Improve the quality of management information, board packs and KPI reporting.
- Set and align core financial performance indicators with the Chairman and senior leadership.
- Take ownership of Group cashflow and working capital management.
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting cycle across the Group.
- Evaluate commercial agreements to protect profitability and maintain suitable margins.
- Provide direction to the Corporate Services team, covering HR, Compliance, Marketing and Office Management.
- Oversee joining and exit processes for employees across the Group.
- Handle relationships with auditors, banks, insurers, tax consultants, legal advisers and other external partners.
- Review important supplier contracts and service arrangements where needed.
Candidate profile
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA or an equivalent professional accounting credential and at least 8 years of post-qualification experience. They should have worked in a comparable leadership role within a professional services environment and bring deep expertise in management accounting, budgeting, forecasting and cashflow control. Experience spanning multiple legal entities and jurisdictions is essential, along with strong commercial judgement and the confidence to influence senior decision-makers. The role also requires prior exposure to leading support functions beyond finance, such as HR, compliance or operations.
