Role overview
Join an events services business in Dubai as the senior leader for a portfolio of high-profile corporate and luxury events. This position is responsible for steering events from concept through delivery, ensuring every experience is executed to a premium standard.
Key responsibilities
- Take ownership of the full lifecycle for a broad mix of large-scale corporate and luxury events, including planning, production, and on-site execution.
- Lead, guide, mentor, and grow an internal team made up of event managers, coordinators, and technical producers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers, fabrication partners, and AV vendors, while handling sourcing and commercial negotiations.
- Control event budgets, protect margins, improve profitability, and oversee departmental P&L performance.
- Serve as the main senior contact for important clients, turning their requirements and ideas into smooth operational delivery.
- Make sure all activities comply with Dubai Tourism (DET) requirements, DTCM ticketing rules, and relevant health and safety standards.
Experience and working style
- You should bring at least 8 years of experience in event management, including a minimum of 3 years in a senior leadership position within an agency or events services environment.
- Strong working knowledge of the Dubai and UAE events market, including venues, regulations, and premium supplier networks, is essential.
- You need excellent organizational ability and the capacity to manage several demanding projects at the same time.
- The role suits someone who stays composed in pressure-filled situations and is confident handling live-event challenges.
- Excellent English communication skills are required; Arabic fluency would be a major advantage.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends, depending on the event schedule, is necessary.
