Role Overview

GEMS Founders Masdar City in Abu Dhabi is expanding and is seeking a Head of English to join for August 2026. This opportunity suits either an Early Career Teacher looking for international experience or a more seasoned educator ready to advance within a leading global school group.

Candidate Profile

• A bachelor’s degree in English, or a BEd together with a PGCE in English.
• Demonstrated teaching experience in a secondary school.
• A record of effective, high-quality teaching and learning.

• Willingness to participate actively in the school community beyond the classroom.
