Job description

About the opportunity

This role sits within a clinically backed premium skincare and suncare business that blends scientific credibility with meaningful product innovation and strong direct-to-consumer growth plans. The position is based in the London area and is focused on leading the full ecommerce engine across multiple channels and markets.

Role overview

As Head of Ecommerce, you will be a commercially focused, hands-on leader responsible for the end-to-end D2C performance of the business. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will shape strategy and convert it into day-to-day trading execution across the UK and US storefronts, CRM, Amazon Luxury, and TikTok Shop, with an emphasis on revenue growth and long-term customer value.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the D2C trading plan on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis for the UK and US, with accountability for revenue delivery and ROAS objectives.
  • Oversee the Shopify storefront so it performs as a conversion-focused sales channel across the homepage, product pages, cart, checkout, and post-purchase experience.
  • Own the CRM programme end to end through Klaviyo and Recharge, including automated journeys, campaign planning, audience segmentation, and subscriber growth.
  • Set up and run Amazon Luxury operations in the UK and US, covering A+ content, Amazon Ads, pricing alignment, and the trading calendar tied to key retail events.
  • Build and grow TikTok Shop, including creator affiliate activity, LIVE commerce, and coordination with paid and organic media.
  • Create and maintain a rolling sales forecast by market, channel, and SKU, with visibility on revenue, conversion rate, customer acquisition cost, and contribution margin.
  • Produce unified ecommerce and marketplace reporting using GA4, Shopify, Klaviyo, and Amazon data so the Commercial Director has a single commercial view.
  • Manage the ecommerce operating budget and contribute to inventory planning and forecast accuracy.

Candidate profile

The ideal applicant is an experienced ecommerce professional who can take ownership of a significant revenue line and operate confidently in a fast-moving scale-up environment. Strong commercial judgement, speed, accuracy, and sensitivity to premium brand positioning are all important for success in this role.

Experience and expertise required

  • At least 5 years of direct-to-consumer ecommerce experience, preferably in premium beauty, skincare, or wellness.
  • Proven responsibility for a revenue stream of £1 million or more.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Shopify and Klaviyo.
  • Hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central or Vendor Central.
  • Experience with TikTok Shop is highly desirable.
  • Confidence using GA4, blended performance metrics, and commercial forecasting tools.
  • Ability to operate effectively in an environment that demands pace, precision, and brand awareness.

This is a full-time, onsite role in the London area. The business is seeking someone ready to make an immediate impact across trading, forecasting, channel expansion, and customer lifecycle performance.
