Job description
Role Overview and Responsibilities
As Head of Digital Commerce at Dr. Wolff Group, you will hold disciplinary responsibility for the overall digital commerce strategy, including D2C shops, eCommerce, and CRM, driving its ambitious international expansion. You will develop and implement a modern CRM strategy, generating and testing effective use cases. A key part of your role is to significantly grow D2C and eCommerce revenues through strategic planning and operational excellence across all channels.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Content, Performance Marketing, Brand Management, Sales, IT, Logistics, Finance, and international divisions to achieve digital objectives and profitably scale business models.
Your duties also include managing key P&L metrics like revenue, contribution margin, ROAS/ROI, CAC, CLV, and conversion rates while responsibly overseeing the budget. You will enhance the D2C customer journey by optimizing traffic generation, shop user experience, pricing, CRM/marketing automation, retention, and loyalty programs.
Additionally, you will advance the marketplace strategy (1P/3P setup, portfolio and content strategies, retail media, and reviews), identify new digital sales opportunities, forge partnerships, and develop business models through test-and-learn approaches with pilot rollouts in new territories.

Qualifications
- Several years in a senior digital commerce role, preferably within brand, FMCG, consumer health, or private equity sectors
- Proven track record in establishing and scaling D2C shops and marketplace businesses, including online pharmacies, drugstores, and food eRetailers at an international level
- Strong expertise in performance and growth marketing channels such as SEA/PLA, social ads, retail media, affiliate marketing, CRM/email, and SEO, with a focus on their impact on revenue and profitability
- Deep analytical capabilities with strong numerical skills, managing business via KPIs and familiar with web and eCommerce analytics tools
- Entrepreneurial, pragmatic, and results-driven mindset combining strategy with hands-on execution and ownership
- Experience managing and internationalizing digital sales models and leading launches in new countries or regions
- Outstanding leadership skills, capable of building teams, nurturing talent, and fostering a performance-oriented culture
- Excellent proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken
