About the Role
Bloom Education is seeking a seasoned and energetic leader to head the Mathematics Department at one of its charter schools. The school is looking for someone who is genuinely committed to strong academic outcomes and who can guide the department with confidence, expertise and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities
- Lead the Mathematics Department and provide clear academic direction.
- Promote high standards of teaching, learning and student achievement.
- Work closely with senior and middle leaders to support school-wide excellence.
- Model professional conduct and uphold strong ethical standards.
- Contribute to a collaborative environment involving staff, students and parents.
Requirements
- A relevant BA degree and PGCE are required.
- At least five years of postgraduate teaching experience is needed.
- Experience with the American curriculum will be considered an advantage.

- The CV should include the names and email addresses of three professional referees, including one current principal.
- Candidates must be willing to complete safeguarding and child protection screening.
- If currently working in the UK, an ACRO check will be required.
