- Build foundational data systems to support compliance, reporting, and evidence needs for impactful technology and healthcare initiatives.
- Manage vendor relationships for data technologies and optimize tools, processes, and investments as the organization expands.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of practical experience in data roles coupled with a minimum of 3 years leading data teams.
- Expertise in SQL and dbt, capable of scrutinizing complex models, troubleshooting data issues, and applying rigorous modeling standards.
- Experience with modern data platforms, including data ingestion, cloud data warehousing, transformations, analytics, and monitoring tools.
- Strong understanding of data engineering principles such as orchestration, incremental processing, dependency management, backfills, reliability, and quality controls.
- Proven ability to architect clear, maintainable, and scalable data models with solid documentation, ownership, testing, and governance standards.
- Skilled at converting business objectives into meaningful metrics related to growth, retention, revenue, customer behavior, and operational performance.
- Capability to lead strategically while remaining technically hands-on, reviewing architecture, code, and analytics workflows.
- Effective stakeholder management skills with the confidence to challenge unclear data metrics and advocate for better decision frameworks.
- Experience implementing data reliability practices including monitoring, alerting, ownership, and incident response protocols.
- Excellent communication skills enabling influence at senior leadership levels across technical and business functions.
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as Redshift or similar technologies preferred.
- Experience with analytics collaboration tools like Hex or equivalent is a plus.
- Background in consumer products, subscription models, healthcare technology, regulated sectors, or rapidly scaling companies is advantageous.
Benefits and Perks
