Role Overview
We seek a dedicated and results-driven leader to guide the Customer Success function across EMEA at Notion. Reporting directly to the Global Head of Customer Success, you will lead skilled teams focused on optimizing customer adoption and expansion of Notion’s platform, while advocating for the customer experience and Notion’s connected workspace ambitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and execute strategies that align the EMEA Customer Success team with the company’s broader objectives, focusing on adoption rates, customer retention, and revenue growth.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Customer Success Managers within both scaled and dedicated segments across the EMEA region.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Solutions Engineering, and Professional Services teams to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery of high-value services, enhancing the overall customer experience for sustained success.
- Establish and nurture executive-level relationships with strategic customers; collect and relay customer insights to influence product enhancements and represent EMEA client interests internally.
- Implement and refine KPI and OKR frameworks to support data-driven decision making; monitor customer health indicators to proactively identify risks and opportunities.
- Drive outstanding retention and expansion performance across a multimillion-dollar portfolio.
- Optimize internal processes and leverage customer success platforms to enhance team efficiency and workflow consistency.
Required Qualifications & Attributes
- Minimum of eight years in leadership roles within Customer Success or Go-To-Market teams in fast-paced SaaS environments, emphasizing post-sales functions.
- Proven experience managing a wide variety of customer segments from commercial to enterprise level, with a track record of effective cross-functional collaboration.
- A compelling leader capable of attracting, inspiring, and sustaining high-performing teams.
- Deeply customer-centric mindset with a passion for understanding clients’ businesses, priorities, and value points.
- Expertise in data-driven management and the ability to establish performance metrics suited to organizational goals.
- Operational rigor paired with systemic thinking around the full customer lifecycle.
- A growth-oriented outlook that treats challenges as learning opportunities.
- Exceptional adaptability to thrive amid rapid business changes.
- Capability to increase product adoption and usage to maximize net revenue retention across the EMEA market.
- Curious and open to incorporating AI tools into workflows, although advanced AI expertise is not mandatory.
Compensation & Benefits
Notion offers a competitive compensation package combining salary, incentives, equity, and benefits tailored to location, role complexity, and candidate expertise. The expected total compensation range for this position is €187,000 to €209,000 annually.
