Role Overview

As Head of Creative, you will own the creative expression of mitte across all channels and touchpoints. Working closely with the CEO/founder, you will evolve the brand strategy and translate it into a visual and communicative language that positions mitte as the premium benchmark in the global padel market. Your goal is to deliver a consistent, high-quality brand experience across social media, websites, print materials, campaigns, and physical club assets — starting with a few clubs and eventually spanning nationwide and throughout Europe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain the mitte brand guideline system covering visuals, tone, logo use, and design principles to ensure brand consistency across all clubs.
  • Collaborate with the CEO to refine the brand strategy and sharpen mitte's position as a premium lifestyle sports brand.
  • Lead creative direction for photo and video production, graphic design, copywriting, and campaigns, managing both internal and external creative resources while actively contributing to key creative projects.
  • Manage the creative oversight of communication channels including social media, website, CRM, PR, and owner communications.
  • Drive the creative aspects of strategic brand partnerships with other brands, athletes, and cultural contributors that align with the mitte world.
  • Oversee the implementation of all physical brand assets such as print materials, signage, membership kits, and merchandise, coordinating with partners like Adidas.
  • Collaborate closely with Activation, Club Experience, and Operations teams to unify brand, activation, and club experience into a seamless whole.

  • You hold responsibility over the entire creative spectrum, from strategic brand positioning to execution to physical products, without silos.

  • You work directly with the founder/CEO, enabling rapid decision-making and real creative influence.

Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in building or creatively leading premium brands in sports, lifestyle, fashion, hospitality, or consumer sectors, understanding premium brand essence and translating it into concrete actions.
  • Exceptional creative sensibility with the ability to define and enforce creative vision through collaboration with agencies, photographers, designers, and internal teams.
  • Hands-on involvement in key projects; comfortable managing both strategic brand discussions and detailed design tasks.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills to jointly develop brand strategy with the CEO and steer enduring creative directions.
  • System-oriented mindset to develop brand guidelines, templates, and frameworks that scale without compromising quality.
  • Genuine affinity for sports, athleticism, and sports communities, understanding how sport motivates people and how to embody that in a brand.
  • Leadership capabilities to build and nurture teams, agency relationships, and creative networks.
  • At least 5–7 years of professional experience in brand building, brand marketing, or creative direction, preferably within premium or lifestyle fast-growing environments.
  • Fluent communication skills in German and English, both written and spoken.
  • Motivation to actively contribute to the development of Europe's leading padel operator through initiative, ideas, and accountability.
