Job description
About REIWA
REIWA is Western Australia’s peak real estate organisation, supporting the state’s property profession for 109 years. Today, it works with about 7,000 members through industry education, events, advocacy, and reiwa.com, WA’s leading property listings portal. The organisation combines long-standing credibility with a fast-moving, growth-focused culture.
About the role
This is a leadership role at the centre of REIWA’s Member Experience function. The contact centre is the first point of contact for every phone call, email, and enquiry from members, and this position is responsible for ensuring that every interaction is handled with quality, care, and consistency.
You will report to the Chief Operating Officer and lead a small team that supports real estate professionals across Western Australia. The role blends people leadership, service excellence, operational improvement, and the use of member insights to influence decisions and enhance the overall experience.
It is suited to someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and developing people while making a direct impact on how members are supported.
What you'll do
- Lead the team responsible for front-line member interactions and foster a culture focused on outstanding service.
- Set the direction for how REIWA connects with and supports its members as their needs change.
- Improve member services and digital tools so the experience becomes smoother and more useful.
- Use data and member feedback to spot opportunities for improvement and guide better decisions.
- Build strong working relationships across REIWA and with members so their voice helps shape services.
- Work collaboratively across the organisation to evolve member services and digital platforms.
What we are looking for
REIWA is looking for a service-focused leader with experience in contact centres, customer service, member experience, or service delivery. The ideal candidate has already led teams, coached people effectively, and helped lift performance through practical improvement initiatives.
The role also calls for someone who understands that great service is not only about resolving issues in the moment, but also about identifying the root cause of recurring problems and proposing better long-term solutions.
Application details
Applicants should send a current resume and a cover letter explaining why they are a strong fit for the role. For further information, Kerry Akhurst, Executive Manager People & Culture, can be contacted on (08) 9380 8262 or at kerry.akhurst@reiwa.com.au.
This opportunity is available only to people with unrestricted working rights in Australia. Recruitment agencies are asked not to submit applications or candidate enquiries.
Location and flexibility
The role is based in Subiaco, Perth, and includes parking and the option for work-from-home flexibility.
What makes this role appealing
- Lead the team and strategy behind every interaction with more than 7,500 members.
- Develop and coach a small, high-performing team focused on exceptional service.
- Join a respected organisation with 109 years of history and strong momentum.
- Enjoy a Subiaco workplace with parking and flexible work-from-home arrangements.
