About the Role
A values-driven organization is in search of an outstanding Head of Communications and Brand to spearhead its brand strategy, external communications, and creative vision amid a phase of national expansion. This role offers a salary range of £75,000 to £85,000 and embraces a hybrid working model involving three days onsite and two days working from home each week.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage brand strategy, identity, and voice consistently across multiple communication platforms.
- Oversee communications at the group level, including public relations, internal communication, and reputation management.
- Direct creative efforts for campaigns, ensuring strong visual identity and adherence to design standards.
- Lead and cultivate a performance-driven team comprising communication and creative professionals.
- Engage with senior leadership and external stakeholders to align messaging and brand positioning.
Qualifications and Experience
- Demonstrated success in a Head of Brand Communications role, preferably within a purpose-led yet commercially aware organization.
- Experience managing proactive media relations, social media initiatives, and reactive crisis communication scenarios.
- Proven capabilities in creating and executing strategies that foster growth, enhance reputation, and boost engagement.
- Experience coordinating multiple brands and integrating brand communications within a broader marketing framework.
- Expertise in leading creative direction and overseeing agency partnerships.
- A leadership style rooted in values and collaboration, complemented by compelling storytelling skills.
- Ability to influence and gain consensus from senior executives while constructively challenging strategic decisions when necessary.
Work Arrangement
This position supports flexible work, requiring attendance three days per week onsite with two days permitted as remote work from home.
