Role overview
This position leads the commercial operations function that underpins the customer purchase journey. The focus is on creating reliable, scalable processes that keep transactions moving smoothly while supporting growth across multiple markets.
Key responsibilities
- Build and refine the end-to-end commercial operations setup that supports the customer buying journey.
- Put in place operating procedures, controls, and governance for orders, payments, financing, trade-ins, pricing execution, and customer issue handling.
- Design and roll out scalable workflows that can support expansion across direct, agency, and distributor channels.
- Own operational preparedness for launches involving new markets, products, services, and customer journey improvements.
- Create clear processes for handling exceptions, approvals, and escalations so non-standard cases are managed consistently.
- Make sure operations comply with regulatory, tax, legal, and country-specific requirements across Europe.
- Spot inefficiencies in operations and drive improvement initiatives that increase speed, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with functional leaders, local market teams, and global stakeholders to ensure commercial operations align with business goals and customer needs.
What this role requires
- Background in commercial operations, sales operations, order management, or business operations in automotive, retail, e-commerce, or similarly complex environments.
- Strong grasp of order-to-cash workflows, transaction controls, and customer order management.
- Experience creating operational models that can scale across multiple markets or business units.
- Strong analytical ability with a mindset geared toward process improvement and automation.
- Proven stakeholder management skills and the ability to bring cross-functional teams into alignment.
- Experience setting up governance, controls, and compliance structures.
- Comfort working in fast-moving, high-growth, and uncertain environments.
- A detail-focused, execution-oriented approach with a strong commitment to operational excellence and customer experience.
