Role overview

The Head of Client Team is a senior leadership position based in Dubai that owns client relationships, coordinates delivery across departments, and ensures every client-facing project is delivered to a high standard. Reporting to the Arab Nation Director, the role calls for a strategic, highly organized leader with strong communication, project management, and people-management capabilities.

Beyond overseeing projects, this person will lead and motivate the client services team, build a culture centered on accountability and collaboration, and keep execution clear, consistent, and aligned with client expectations. The position also serves as the main link between clients and internal teams, with responsibility for planning, financial monitoring, and quality assurance.

Client leadership and relationship management

  • Act as the main contact for new clients, support onboarding, and allocate suitable project leads.
  • Contribute strategic and creative direction to client work so it stays aligned with goals and brand positioning.
  • Review and sign off on all client-facing outputs before they are shared externally.
  • Develop strong, lasting client partnerships built on trust, clarity, and successful delivery.

Team leadership and people management

  • Guide, coach, and develop a team of 6 client service professionals.
  • Run weekly team check-ins to align priorities, address blockers, and reinforce accountability.
  • Encourage an inclusive, motivated, and high-performing team environment.
  • Support professional growth by mentoring team members and identifying development opportunities.

Project oversight

  • Oversee more than 15 projects across long-term and short-term social media management, campaigns management, and video production.

  • Identify risks early and help teams resolve issues efficiently.

  • Build and maintain the annual Client Team Capacity Plan so workloads stay realistic and proposal intake remains balanced.
  • Create and document workflows, role responsibilities, communication channels, and escalation paths.
  • Assess capacity to rebalance work, redistribute resources, or determine when external support is required.
  • Continuously improve internal processes and client service delivery.

Cross-functional coordination

  • Lead structured weekly coordination sessions with production, content, finance, and procurement teams.
  • Align all stakeholders on timelines, deliverables, and shared objectives.
  • Resolve interdepartmental challenges and improve collaboration across teams.
  • Act as the connector between client requirements and internal delivery capabilities.

Financial oversight and budgeting

  • Review the financial side of each project, including invoicing, payments, and budget tracking.
  • Ensure project costs stay consistent with client agreements and are handled in a timely manner.
  • Work with finance to review estimates, approve invoices, and manage reporting.
  • Monitor whether project leads are completing financial tasks correctly and following process.
  • Share financial updates and insights to support planning and future decisions.

Recruitment and team expansion

  • Spot talent gaps based on workload and the project pipeline.
  • Recommend headcount growth when demand requires it.
  • Take part in hiring, interviews, and onboarding of new team members.

Leadership style and culture

Requirements

  • Comfort with financial tracking and managing project budgets.
  • Familiarity with project management software and performance-tracking tools.
  • Experience in strategic planning or overseeing content/creative projects is a strong plus.
  • Ability to perform in a fast-moving, deadline-sensitive, client-centric environment.
