Job description
Company overview
Aditiser is a paid media agency based in Auckland that manages complex, high-volume advertising programmes across paid search, paid social, affiliate, and influencer channels. The business has spent more than ten years delivering media at scale for a major international health and wellness retailer, and has developed the automation, reporting, and quality-control systems needed for a specialist team to handle work that many agencies cannot.
The company is now entering a new growth phase and expanding its client portfolio. It is seeking an experienced Head of Client Services to take ownership of delivery standards and client relationships.
About the role
This is a senior leadership position reporting directly to the owner. You will oversee all client delivery, ensuring every account is completed on schedule, to a high standard, and in a profitable way. You will also be responsible for the overall quality of client relationships.
You will guide the delivery team across paid search, paid social, affiliate, influencer, automation, and reporting work, and bring in language specialists whenever a market requires them. In addition, you will act as the most senior client contact and the person clients can rely on.
Because the role builds on agency experience, you will also contribute on the commercial side by scoping new projects accurately, refining service offerings, and pricing accounts in a way that works for both clients and the business.
The client base spans New Zealand, Australia, the UK, and North America, so some flexibility in working hours is expected. This may occasionally include early-morning or late-evening calls for UK or US clients, with flexibility provided in return so you can adjust your day around those meetings.
Key responsibilities
- Take full ownership of client delivery, including quality, timing, delivery standards, and profitability.
- Manage, support, and allocate work across the delivery team.
- Serve as the main senior contact for clients and maintain strong, long-term relationships.
- Define scope and pricing for new work, and help improve service packages.
- Keep internal processes, quality assurance, and reporting approaches consistent and efficient.
- Anticipate capacity constraints and plan resources before they become urgent.
- Join occasional calls outside standard hours to support overseas clients, balanced by flexibility in your own schedule.
- Partner with the new-business team so commitments to clients remain realistic and deliverable.
Requirements
- Strong background in client services and account management, with the ability to run strategic relationships and maintain service quality.
- Proven experience in business relationship management, including stakeholder coordination, contract handling, and client retention.
- Clear capability in team leadership and team management, including coaching and developing a multidisciplinary client services group.
- Experience in paid media or digital marketing, with a solid grasp of performance marketing and eCommerce.
- Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas to different audiences.
- Well-developed organisational and analytical skills, including comfort working with data, reporting, and performance metrics.
- Experience in agency operations or account leadership.
- Ability to collaborate well across teams and contribute to an inclusive, high-performance culture.
What we offer
- A senior leadership position with meaningful ownership and direct access to the owner.
- The opportunity to shape how an established, capable team serves clients in its next phase of growth.
- Flexible hybrid working from the Greenhithe base, with genuine give-and-take around working hours.
- A competitive salary package.
