Role overview
This is an opportunity to join a collaborative and forward-looking team as Head of Capital Projects. The role suits an experienced capital projects specialist who can lead a varied estates programme and support the development of a modern, sustainable and high-performing college environment.
Reporting to the Director of Estates, you will oversee the Project Team and manage the College’s capital programme, which exceeds £3 million each year. The focus will be on delivering projects to schedule, within agreed budgets and to a high standard of quality, while also contributing to strategic estate planning, sustainability goals and compliance.
As part of the College, you will help shape major investment decisions and support the long-term success of the estate and the learning environment.

Safeguarding and pre-employment checks

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975, as amended. Employment will depend on pre-employment checks, including an enhanced DBS check, qualification verification, reference checks and confirmation of the right to work in the UK. The role also follows the legal position on protected convictions and cautions under the 2013 and 2020 amendments.
