Role Overview
The Finance department steers Revolut with clarity and assurance, handling roles from accounting to strategic support that influence risk assessment, decision-making, and expansion. We are recruiting a Head of Capital Management to oversee pivotal treasury operations focusing on capital management as we broaden our capabilities and presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and refining frameworks for capital management and allocation.
- Overseeing group-wide capital strategies and evaluating subsidiary capital plans.
- Assisting business strategy decisions and executing related capital initiatives.
- Conducting frequent capital forecasting and reviewing capital sufficiency.
- Keeping abreast of capital regulatory demands and risk management practices.
- Interpreting regulatory standards related to safeguarding capital.
Experience & Skills Required
- Minimum of six years managing treasury functions with an emphasis on capital within financial institutions or fintech companies.
- Advanced skills in financial forecasting and modeling.
- Comprehensive understanding of capital risk principles and treasury operations.
- Proficient knowledge of European banking regulations such as the Capital Requirements Regulation and related delegated acts.
- Strong analytical capabilities coupled with the aptitude to communicate strategic decisions effectively to senior leadership.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to dissect complex issues, identify root causes, and devise effective solutions.
- Fluency in English is essential.
Desirable Qualifications
- Familiarity with accounting standards.
- French language proficiency.
- Certifications such as CFA, ACCA/ACA, or CertBALM.
