Job description
About Reachdesk
Reachdesk is a global, end-to-end SaaS platform for gifting and branded swag, built to help B2B companies strengthen relationships with prospects, customers, and employees while generating measurable return on investment. The platform supports personalized gifting, branded merchandise, and event and brand experiences at scale through automated sourcing, warehousing, and worldwide fulfillment.
Role Overview
Reachdesk is hiring a Head of Business Systems & Operations to own the systems landscape and data architecture that powers day-to-day business operations. In this role, you will connect Finance, GTM, Product, and Customer teams through one trusted system environment, ensuring reliable data movement across Salesforce, NetSuite, Workato, and the BI stack. This is a strategic, high-impact position where you will define how the company uses its systems rather than simply supporting them.
You will step in during an important phase as the company completes its closed-loop architecture and shifts system ownership from Product into the business. The role gives you autonomy to design, govern, and improve the ecosystem, while introducing AI into core workflows and decision-making. It is well suited to someone who enjoys bringing structure to complexity and building a scalable operating foundation that improves speed, control, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
You will lead the business systems function end to end, set technical direction, and partner closely with cross-functional leaders to create dependable processes, automation, and reporting. You will also guide a small team, manage outside partners, and oversee vendor relationships for the company’s core SaaS tools.
Business Systems Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the data and systems architecture across Salesforce, NetSuite, Workato, the Reachdesk SaaS platform, and the BI environment.
- Move systems ownership into Business Operations and create a governance model, operating structure, and roadmap that supports trusted and timely data exchange across Finance, GTM, Product, and Customer teams.
- Set technical direction by working directly in the systems with your team, not only reviewing outputs, and define the future BI architecture, ownership structure, and implementation plan.
- Complete and continually enhance the closed-loop architecture so that every key process is supported by clean data and dependable automation.
- Build an AI governance approach that brings AI into forecasting, pipeline visibility, customer health, billing, and operational automation, with clear efficiency improvements.
- Set and uphold master data management and integration standards across the full systems stack.
- Work with Finance, RevOps, Customer Operations, and Product to turn business priorities into scalable system solutions while balancing quick delivery with long-term architectural soundness.
- Lead, coach, and develop a compact team of systems and operations specialists, and coordinate external delivery partners when required.
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and roadmaps for the core SaaS tools, aiming to maximize value, influence product direction, and identify cost savings and operating efficiencies.
- Track and present system health, data quality, and operational efficiency metrics to executive stakeholders and the Board when needed.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is a strategic systems leader with strong technical judgement and a practical builder mindset. You should view business systems as a genuine advantage to the company, not just an administrative support function. The right person will be energized by shaping the operational engine of a high-growth, PE-backed SaaS company and will care deeply about data consistency and integrity across teams.
This role requires someone who remains close to the systems themselves and is comfortable moving between hands-on configuration and broader strategy discussions. You should be equally confident in Salesforce, NetSuite, and Workato as you are in conversations with Finance, Revenue, or Engineering leaders. Success in this role is measured by better decisions, stronger accountability, and measurable business outcomes enabled by the systems you build and govern.
Must-Have Qualifications
- At least 8 years of experience in Business Systems, RevOps, or BizTech leadership within B2B SaaS, including a minimum of 3 years leading a team or function.
- Strong expertise in Salesforce and NetSuite, with hands-on experience designing and improving the integrations between them.
- Solid experience with iPaaS tools, especially Workato, along with modern business intelligence tools.
- Proven ability to design and run closed-loop systems covering quote-to-cash, lead-to-revenue, and the customer lifecycle in a multi-entity, multi-currency setting.
- Recent hands-on experience within the last 12 months, with the ability to explain systems you configured, automations you built, or data models you designed in practical detail.
- Strong discipline in data governance and master data management, including clear ownership, lineage, and quality standards.
- Track record of delivering complex cross-functional systems programs from start to finish, on schedule and within budget.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, especially with Finance and GTM leaders, and the ability to connect technical choices to commercial outcomes.
- People leadership experience with a coaching-oriented style and the ability to build a high-impact small team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a PE-backed, fast-growing SaaS company with strong financial control requirements.
- Exposure to mixed revenue models such as SaaS plus services, marketplace, or fulfillment, including the revenue recognition challenges they create.
- Experience introducing AI, ML, or agent-based automation into operational processes, with clear use cases, governance, adoption controls, and measurable results.
- NetSuite and/or Salesforce certifications.
- Experience transferring systems ownership into a Business Operations team.
- Experience in a scaling SaaS business and comfort working across multiple time zones and entities.
Benefits
- Competitive compensation plus generous equity grants.
- 401(k) plan with employer matching contributions.
- Medical, dental, and vision coverage, including mental health support and quicker access to care.
- Flexible paid time off that grows with tenure, plus added flexibility for unexpected life events.
- A collaborative workplace with ambitious, creative, and energetic colleagues.
