Your Team

Embedded in the "PMT – Processes, Methods and Tools (TZ)" department, this team enables Tech Centers and Delivery Units to deliver complex technologies efficiently, on time, and within budget. The department focuses on resource allocation, continuous process enhancement, compliant processes, methods, and standardized toolchains, empowering employees to deliver exceptional customer value.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and nurture the AI Department within the TZ unit.
Oversee CARIAD's portfolio related to (Generative) AI initiatives aimed at enhancing R&D efficiency and optimizing processes.
Direct the TZ unit’s development of cutting-edge (Generative) AI technologies for process management and optimization.
Manage AI development processes across CARIAD’s R&D and the broader Volkswagen Group.
Represent CARIAD in Volkswagen Group's consolidation efforts for Process AI (e.g., KAK PMT, KI@TE).
Formulate and drive the technology strategy for Process AI, collaborating closely with tech centers and corporate IT.
Own and manage CARIAD’s AI development process end-to-end.
Lead the establishment of centralized governance to comply with the EU AI Act within CARIAD.
Innovate new AI applications and methodologies to accelerate and boost efficiency in CARIAD and Volkswagen R&D.

Candidate Profile

Holds a university degree in computer science, information technology, technical economics, electrical engineering, or a closely related field.
Over 5 years of professional experience in leadership roles within technology firms, management consulting, or automotive OEMs.
Extensive expertise in process AI and AI-driven automation.
Proven skills in developing AI strategies, managing AI teams, crafting business plans, and overseeing technology governance.
Possesses an agile mindset paired with strong leadership and motivational capabilities.
Demonstrated success in spearheading transformation and strategy initiatives with a focus on cost optimization and efficiency.
Exceptional project management abilities, especially in handling complex, high-priority projects involving multiple C-level stakeholders under tight deadlines.
Highly developed communication skills, self-organization, and a solution-driven approach, complemented by executive stakeholder management expertise.
Thrives in dynamic environments, exhibiting professionalism, proactivity, resilience, and a service-oriented attitude.
Excellent verbal and written communication proficiency.
Experience working with coordination and governance bodies within the Volkswagen Group.
Knowledge of PMT processes is advantageous.
