Overview
Grant Thornton INDUS is hiring an experienced HCM Functional Lead Consultant to strengthen its Oracle HCM practice in Bengaluru. The role is suited for a seasoned professional who can lead functional work across Oracle Cloud Payroll, OTL, and Benefits, support implementation and managed services assignments, and contribute to the firm’s growing knowledge initiatives.
Role summary
This position calls for a hands-on Oracle SaaS HCM specialist with strong functional depth in Payroll, OTL, and Benefits. The consultant should be comfortable working in client-facing situations, translating business needs into system solutions, supporting technical teams, and owning delivery responsibilities independently as well as in a lead capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Bring 8 to 12 years of practical functional experience across Oracle Cloud Payroll, OTL, and Benefits.
- Handle implementation and support assignments for SaaS HCM modules, especially OTL, Benefits, and Payroll.
- Map Oracle product features to business needs and advise clients on how to address real-world scenarios through Oracle SaaS HCM.
- Work closely with technical teams to explain requirements clearly and completely.
- Prepare functional design documents and carry out functional as well as regression testing.
- Manage tickets independently when acting as an individual contributor and also take ownership of project leadership responsibilities.
- Participate in at least 4 end-to-end implementations on the relevant modules.
- Work with workflow notifications, approval setups, and security-related configurations.
- Use data conversion tools such as HDL/HSDL, along with Fast Formula and BI reporting where needed.
- Demonstrate strong communication, presentation, analytical, and interpersonal abilities.
Requirements
- 8 to 12 years of hands-on functional exposure to Oracle Cloud Payroll, OTL, and Benefits.
- Prior experience in implementation and support for Oracle SaaS HCM modules.
- Minimum of 4 complete end-to-end implementations in the relevant areas.
- Working knowledge of workflow notifications, approvals, and security configurations.
- Exposure to data conversion, Fast Formula, and BI reporting is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate with technical teams and communicate business requirements effectively.
- Strong problem-solving, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Preferred Oracle HCM Cloud certifications in Time & Labor, Benefits, or Payroll.
