About Soho House Berlin
Soho House Berlin is a private members' club and hotel located in a heritage-protected building in the heart of Berlin. The property boasts 65 rooms of varying sizes, 20 apartments, and four lofts. Attached is THE STORE X, a concept store that offers a platform for ideas and culture, aiming to redefine the traditional retail and shopping experience.
Role Overview
The Hausmeister*in (building caretaker) is responsible for the maintenance, care, and upkeep of Soho House Berlin, ensuring the facility remains in excellent condition for guest and member satisfaction.
Key Duties
- Supervising and maintaining communal areas and outdoor premises.
- Performing minor repairs and general maintenance tasks.
- Promptly reporting technical issues to the maintenance team.
- Assisting staff and members with day-to-day building-related concerns.
- Ensuring cleanliness and safety in shared spaces.
Qualifications and Skills
- Mandatory school-leaving qualification or equivalent.
- Previous experience in maintenance and repair work is advantageous.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical installations, plumbing, and other mechanical systems is beneficial.
- Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail are essential.
