Role Overview

As a Driver and Luggage Porter at Soho House, based in Chipping Norton, you will play an essential role ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for members and guests during their arrivals and departures. Supporting the Front of House and Accommodation teams, you will assist with luggage handling, guest requests, and overall flow, embodying the high standards and service culture of Soho House.

Key Responsibilities

• Warmly greet guests and aid with their luggage during both arrival and departure.
• Accompany guests to their rooms and offer an inviting introduction to the House when requested.
• Provide assistance to Front of House personnel with guest requests and general support.
• Keep luggage and vehicle storage areas clean and well-organized.
• Help with deliveries, room relocations, and other internal needs.
• Regularly inspect public spaces, promptly reporting any faults or hazards.
• Help out other departments during peak times to maintain smooth operations.
• Consistently reflect Soho House’s service values and standards in all duties performed.

Candidate Requirements

• A friendly and dependable individual who thrives in a team environment delivering premium guest service.
• Up to two years of experience is preferred in a busy, high-profile setting, such as porter or hospitality roles, but not mandatory.
• Effective communicator comfortable working collaboratively.
• Punctual, reliable, and possessing a strong commitment to work ethics.
• Flexible availability including weekends and public holidays.
• Able to receive and implement feedback aimed at enhancing guest satisfaction.
• Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Competent at understanding and following both verbal and written instructions.
