Job description
Position Overview
The city of Bad Saulgau is seeking a Hausmeister (janitor/facility maintenance technician) for the Berta-Hummel-Schule and the Alte Kloster Bad Saulgau, starting as soon as possible in a temporary role covering sickness absence. The role involves maintaining school and municipal facilities within a community committed to sustainability, biodiversity, and inclusivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine small-scale maintenance, upkeep, and repair tasks in buildings and their surroundings.
- Ensure safety, orderliness, and cleanliness of premises and associated structures.
- Coordinate and supervise external maintenance service providers, including their instruction and quality control of contracted work.
- Manage locking duties and carry out winter service tasks such as snow clearance.

- Good communication abilities and organizational talent.
- Dependability and adaptability.
- Valid Class B driver’s license.
- Willingness to work morning and evening shifts as required.
