Role Overview
We seek a practical, self-reliant maintenance professional to maintain the appearance and functionality of our facilities. The role involves general upkeep duties including cleaning, minor repairs, painting, and facility improvements to uphold a professional, safe, and orderly environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete basic repair tasks such as plumbing fixes, simple electrical work, painting, carpentry, and replacing lighting fixtures.
- Respond to and prioritize maintenance requests based on urgency and impact on operations.
- Maintain cleanliness of various workplace areas including cafeterias, offices, and restrooms following set standards.
- Navigate between multiple buildings using foot, carts, or service vehicles as needed.
- Perform small-scale manual repair or enhancement work like reinstalling shelving and adjusting furniture.
- Keep the workspace safe, clean, and inviting for staff and guests.
- Work together with the building maintenance team when collaborating on tasks.
- Operate equipment like aerial lifts and forklifts as required.
- Adjust flexibly to changing demands and urgent tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Manage personal schedule autonomously, allocating time to tasks based on priority.
Work Conditions
- Primarily day shifts with flexibility depending on projects or urgent situations.
- Work takes place across diverse settings including offices, industrial plants, and warehouses.
- Necessary tools and equipment are provided based on assigned duties.
Qualifications
- 5 to 7 years experience in maintenance or related roles.
- Valid driver's license required for the position and to retain employment.
- Excellent hands-on skills and practical problem-solving ability.
- Focus on detail, precision, and delivering high-quality work.
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
- Physically fit with readiness to perform demanding physical tasks.
- Positive mindset, adaptable nature, and team-oriented outlook.
- Experience in painting or general maintenance is advantageous.
