Role Overview

The Hairdresser plays a vital role in representing the salon's aesthetic values, mission, and philosophy. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying emerging trends, new products, and innovative services to enrich the salon experience. Strong communication abilities combined with a passion for fashion, music, art, and hair care are essential.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and conduct consultations adhering to salon protocols to identify their specific hair care needs, including advising on pricing and services.
• Deliver superior quality cutting, coloring, styling, and finishing techniques while educating clients about the products applied.
• Suggest suitable home-care products during each client session to maintain salon results.
• Maintain thorough records of client service histories, such as hair color and treatment details.
• Continuously refine skills by acquiring new styles and techniques and engaging in both internal and external training workshops.
• Represent and promote the salon brand at external events.
• Consistently meet or exceed service and product sales targets on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Build and maintain a loyal client base through exceptional service and relationship management.
• Help manage inventory by monitoring product levels and assisting in ordering processes for the hair care section.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and sanitized according to salon and municipal guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work environment.
• Escort clients professionally between service areas and ensure high standards of customer interaction.
• Adhere strictly to salon Standard Operating Procedures, policies, and documentation.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Certification or training with L’Oréal or Kerastase is advantageous.
• Proficiency in advanced coloring techniques, including Ombre and Balayage.
• A minimum of three years experience as a salon stylist in an internationally recognized salon.
• High energy, flexible availability, including willingness to work shifts, nights, and weekends.
• Expertise in hair coloring, highlights, styling, hair treatments (e.g., Keratin and Collagen), and haircutting.
• Creativity in designing and interpreting hairstyles.
• Strong communication, social, and customer service skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly motivated environment.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic is preferable.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to company policies and procedures.
